Fruits, vegetables and flowers release ethylene gas while ripening after harvesting or picking. Ethylene gas accelerates ripening, aging and rotting. DEBBIE MEYER Green Bags absorb and remove this damaging gas, dramatically extending the life of fruits, vegetables and flowers.
Each bag is reuseable about 8-10 times. Because some produce does create moisture as it sits, you will sometimes need to wipe off excess moisture if it builds up in the bag. DO NOT SEAL THE BAG or use twist ties. Fold over and allow the bag to breathe. Moisture/condensation MUST be kept out of the bag.
